On March 31, 2026, Ms. Nooria Safi, Founder of RRSO, met with Mr. Yvan Baker to present the organization’s work and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Ms. Safi introduced RRSO as a women-led nonprofit established in 2023, providing holistic, client-centered support to refugees and newcomers, including settlement services, employment readiness, and community integration. She highlighted key achievements and ongoing efforts to address barriers such as employment access, language challenges, and social integration, particularly for women and vulnerable groups.

Mr. Baker expressed strong interest in RRSO’s work and recognized its important role in supporting newcomer communities. He conveyed his support for the organization’s mandate and advocacy efforts, and his willingness to assist in connecting RRSO with relevant resources and stakeholders. He also indicated interest in continued engagement, including potential participation in future RRSO events.
