From Kabul to Ottawa: Global Solidarity to End Gender Apartheid in Afghanistan

On December 08, 2025, RRSO was represented in the session “From Kabul to Ottawa: Global Solidarity to End Gender Apartheid in Afghanistan" in line with RRSO’s mandate in Canada to advocate for human rights, gender equality, and the protection of vulnerable communities. The session provided an important opportunity to engage with Afghan women activists, reconnect with key advocates, and discuss the ongoing challenges and hardships faced by Afghan women, as well as potential pathways forward. RRSO extends its appreciation to Ms. Zarqa Yaftali and the Women and Children Advocacy Community for organizing this meaningful discussion and for their continued leadership and collaboration.
